I have increment in.....

I cant believe I am so thick skin to go and ask for salary increment from my manager. Actually I have the reason to do so. Jason promised that I will be given an increment after 'training period'. And now Jason was sacked and this is my 1.5th month here already. So I went to ask Conrad abt what Jason told me before. First, Conrad didnt agree but he said he is happy with my perfomance and of cos hope i will continue to work here. But after awhile, he agreed to increase my salary for the next payment. Not much but I am happy. At least I am appreciated.
