House hunting in London

I've just came back from London, which is about 30minutes train from Woking. Spent my whole sunny day around London looking for a new place to stay. As I will be starting a new job in London next week, I need to get a place to stay as soon as possible. Otherwise, I have to travel more than 1 hour everyday from my work place to my current house in Woking. Well, I went to view more than 4 places but they were no good. Old and dirty. Thats all I can describe. As I was about to give up, to give up hope to find an afforable decent house...the best piece came! And here it is, finally, at last, phew...i found a nice place for myself and hubby in Kilburn. A place we can call HOME for the next few years (hopefully). There are a lots of shops (I love shopping !!), library (hmm..I dun even need a library, actually), restaurants and take-aways (so that I will not starve to death), 24-hour supermarkets (in case I got fired, I can always apply for a job), and the most important thing is.......the bus stop is just right in front of the house.....thank GOD !
