Holiday's over

So sad. Holiday is over. Tomorrow is Monday.

My new favourite food

My new favourite food - Paella. Paella is a traditional Spanish rice dish cooked with usually seafood and vege usually capsium, pea and tomato. L and I had a lot of Paella when we were in Spain. So yummy. I will try to prepare one for myself one day.

'Plate-licking' good

I don't like garlic.

Presents from holiday

My friends were asking me if I bought any presents for them? Unfortunely no...sorry, I didnt buy a single gift or souviners from Spain. Sorry ! But I gain few stuffs from my holiday.

1. Skin allregy. I don't know what I was allergy to. I hope it is not due to the many seafood I had for the past few days. Because I love seafood and I do not want to be allergy to seafood.

On my leg as well

2. A whole lot of toiletries from the hotel.

What do you find in a 4* hotel?

During our 1-week stay in Malaga, we stayed in a lovely 4-star beachfront Confortel Hotel.

So, what did I find in this hotel?

Lovely swimming pool

Seaview balcony

Breath-taking sunrise

Comfy room

Clean bathroom

And last but not least, the most important of all.....deng deng deng deng...

Holes in the bed sheet !! So big somemore.

When I feel bored

With nothing better to do while waiting for the plane to depart, I took this picture.

While in the coach from hotel to airport with nothing to do, what's better than taking hair pictures of the person sitting in front of me.

Yummy chocolate

I love choclates, like the one below.

So round and full-bodied. Yummy.

But never leave your favourite chocolates under the hot sun. Because they gonna turn into this.

My chocolates melted and became kemek. Lesson learnt !

Bloody driver

L and I took a taxi to a crocodile farm in Malaga. The first trip was 19Euros from our hotel to the park. The fare was based on a fare chart found in the taxi. When we finished, we got into another taxi without asking for the price first, assuming all drivers use the fare chart. We were wrong. This driver, he stopped to pick up his young daughter from her school while we were still in his taxi. And then he drove to his flat to drop his daughter. He was explaining to us that he tried to call his wife but nobody picked up the phone. He was speaking to us in Spanish but we agak-agak know what he tried to say. We were left alone in his taxi while he took his daughter back to the flat for more than 5 minutes, which gave me enough time to snap some photos.

L took this photo. I was in the taxi

No driver

Look, car key still there

Finally, when we reached our hotel, the driver said 25Euros. And we tried to explain in English that the fare should be only 19. But he speaks very limited English. So, we started to argue a bit in 2 different languages. Like chicken and duck talking. Finally he took the fare chart out and it was 20Euros. We paid. Cilaka punya driver !

Didn't wear safety-belt somemore

I was cheated

On the first night, we bought a big bottle of water from a local shop for 2.75Euros. Two days later, we went to the same shop and bought the same brand at different price. Yes, different price ! Because it was different cashier on the counter !! This time, we paid 1.80Euros. That is 1Euro different. 1Euro is 5 Ringgit man. 2 days later, we decided not to go to the shop anymore. We went to a local supermarket and they have a bigger bottle of water at only o.87Euros....ishhhh, geram-nya !!!!

I love tan

Look at my sunburn. I was sun bathing every single day by the beach. Naturally, I have very fair skin but I would love to be slightly darker. This picture was taken on my 3rd day in Costa Del Sol, which means now I have more tan. Yippie...can't wait to show off my tan in London. But then it is still cold in London and I will be wrapped in coat and jacket, so who gonna see my new colour ?!?

Where I am gonna retire

Hubby and I was in Costa Del Sol in Malaga for 1 week and it was so relaxing and fun. I love beach and lots of sun. Although I grew up in a hot tropical country in Malaysia, I still prefer sunshine and not snow. I believe many Malaysian would choose to be in colder country but definitely not me. Costa Del Sol is an ideal place for retirement but it is a bit too far from Malaysia. My choice would be Pulau Langkawi if not Tanjong Bungah in Penang.

One hell of seafood

For 1 whole week in Spain, hubby and I had only seafood, seafood and more seafood. Our holiday package includes breakfast and dinner buffet in the hotel restaurant. I didnt snap any photo of the buffet because....malu-lah. For lunch, we had lots and lots of seafood at the local restaurants. All very fresh seafood.
